Managing a CME Budget
FLEXIBILITY IS IMPORTANT to both Passin Associates and our clients. We understand that the economics of business and public sector scrutiny demand options. When clients need assistance and support in the management of complex accreditation self-studies, when a goal has been established to achieve accreditation with commendation, or when progress reports or a finding of noncompliance and/or probation have been levied, Passin Associates offers many options to help meet those important needs. Options include:
- A full service approach in which Passin Associates’ staff develop initial drafts of documents based on an intensive study of clients’ policies and processes, after which the client participates in several methods of mark-up and tailoring including the use of Track Changes in Microsoft Word and follow-up GoToMeetings.
- This choice is warranted when the client’s staff is overburdened with existing operational responsibility and resources don’t exist to support the project internally.
- A read-and-review approach in which the client’s staff develops initial drafts of documents based on outlines provided by Passin Associates, after which the Passin Associates team performs a detailed mark-up using Track Changes, followed by one or more GoToMeetings in which mark-ups are explained and changes are further refined.
- This approach is warranted when budgets are limited and/or when staff resources are available to mount the tasks at hand.
- A mixed approach of both full service and read-and-review services in which certain chapters of self-studies can be managed with the client preparing them and other chapters require more in-depth support by the Passin Associates team.
- This approach is warranted when budgets are limited but expertise is either lacking or questionable.
- Your-Choice-Your-WaySM in which the client determined available budget for the project and Passin Associates suggest the optimal way to support the project within those constraints.
